So take that for what you will.
What I was really excited to write about was the events of last night/wee this morning. I was working the 3-11 shift over at the Motel Suites (do we still remember that this is a fake name?), and my auditor was late. As I was walking out to my car around midnight, I noticed a guy in a Sgt. Peppers T-Shirt taking pictures of the skyline; I started up conversation, and it turned out that he was part of a Beatles Tribute Band that had just played in Conseco Fieldhouse during the Pacers game Friday night. (Since I have not mentioned it before, let me say now that I am a huge Beatles nerd. It is almost frightening how much I love them.)
More conversation led us to spontaneously deciding to stage an acoustic performance outside on the canal....at 1 o'clock in the morning. We are so fun and smart. [insert a sarcastic tone on the word "smart"]
We decided to have the impromptu show on the balcony overlooking the canal. This guest was drunk and really wanted to tune my tiny travel guitar. Needless to say, he failed.
Now we're getting serious, haha. They busted out the keyboard along with its amp.
Josh was working Night Audit at the time and came outside to join us in our short-lived rebellion.
About halfway through "Let It Be", we got shut down; a hotel guest stuck her head out of her window and informed us that this was a hotel and that people were trying to sleep. Fuckin' bummer.
After that, we packed it up and headed inside to talk over coffee/tea. It felt so good for the nerdy Beatles fan inside of me to talk about obscure Beatles shit with people. Normally, I just read books and then write about what I read in Beatles fan forums, so you can imagine how I felt when I had three other people discussing with me. It wasn't until 3 AM that I finally got home, and I stayed up well past that...bad Lindsay, bad.
Chris-Paul gave me his business card, and it seems that he's also a part of another tribute band by the name of Brit Beat. They're website was pretty cute, check it out if you're interested. Also, the gentleman playing the keyboards for us on the balcony is also part of a Lennon Tribute band by the name of Strawberry Fields Forever.
Since I'm currently at work, I was paid to write this. I win.

i accidently found your blog and im amused and have to tell you this. i read college call girl and checked the comments and saw your name (neurotic film student) and i was like HEY im neurotic AND a film student (or as close as i can get to being one), so i clicked on it and saw you are in indy. so i was like wtf what are the chances. so i skimmed through and saw you were talking about N240! are you in new media video and sound production too? if so, that is really effin random I would find your blog. i loved n240 when i took it. but that prof doesn't do 240 anymore. is afsina teaching yours? if so, how meh. she did P355, the next video class, for me. i don't enjoy her as an instructor. wow i probably just really creeped you out with this little charade. sorry. feel free to stalk my blog or something if you want to bitch about how much iupui's computer labs suck or ponder why they don't teach us final cut pro until we're nearly to graduation.
I think you stole me and YOU are me. In fact, after watching one of your videos, I am sure of this. We have the same style.
ps I'll probably read your blog because it's interesting to me now.
